Transparency

Last updated: August 24, 2026. This page gathers what the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) expects from a service like Proof, and what we publish of our own accord. The French version prevails.

Single point of contact for authorities

Proof. has designated legal@proofplaces.com as its single point of contact for Member State authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, under articles 11 and following of the DSA. Communications are accepted in French and English. By post: Proof., 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France.

Orders to act against content or to provide information

Orders issued under articles 9 and 10 of the DSA go to legal@proofplaces.com, with the elements those articles require (statement of reasons, precise identification of the content, legal basis). We acknowledge receipt and inform the issuing authority of the effect given without undue delay. Requests outside the DSA follow the applicable national law, at the same address.

For any DSA-related question: support@proofplaces.com, or the contact page. Content reports follow the process described there, with absolute priority for content involving minors.

Moderation

Our content rules live in the community guidelines and the moderation section of the terms: reports, human review, a scale of measures, a reasoned notification of every decision and a way to contest it. To date, Proof displays no advertising and operates no advertising recommender system. Should we deploy one, this page will describe, before it goes live, the main parameters of the recommender system (article 27 of the Digital Services Act), the information made available for each advertisement shown (article 26), and the exclusion of accounts under 18 from any advertising based on profiling (article 28.2).

What we will publish here

At the app's launch, then at regular intervals: the average number of monthly active users in the Union, and a plain summary of reports received and measures taken. The regulation does not require all of this from a company our size; we prefer to put it in writing.
